Percy and the Storm is the twenty-fifth episode of the third season.
Plot
A storm has recently hit Sodor and Percy is working to clear the line. It seems like there would be no storm until about noon when dark clouds start to fill the sky. Percy becomes anxious, and even more worried when he discovers another storm is heading to Sodor. James is coming with some passengers that need to get to Barrow-in-Furness as the storm is arriving, but he breaks down at Knapford. Percy is there and the Drivers, Firemans, and Stationmaster almost come to an agreement to stay at Knapford, but Percy boldly agrees to take the passengers home. They agree with the Fat Controller and Percy sets off. As they approach Vicarstown, they decide to use a path that runs through a ravine. However, the rain loosens rock, and it nearly crushes Percy. The Diesel at Barrow-in-Furness is waiting anxiously looking through the rain for the sight of a saddle tank engine, and is surprised to see Percy, five minutes late, with a dent, wet, but triumphant puff out of the rain. Percy stays at Barrow for the meantime the storm is over and the next day, the Fat Controller congadulates him with a new coat of paint.
